We are a social consultancy firm whose only priority is to help those who want to do good, better.
We help non-profit organisations securemore funding, drive innovation and develop smarter strategies. Partnering with over 200 NGOs and IGOs, we are a recognised leader in building efficient, agile non-profit organisations.
Via our parent company, Human Planet Ventures, we help our business clients achieve sustainable success by ensuring their operations are beneficial for people and the planet. From eliminating harmful operations to decarbonising, we support those who want their business to be a force for good in the world.
In this episode, Antonie Treuren, Program Leader and Business Developer for Woord en Daad, walks us through the steps needed to address the root causes of poverty instead of treating symptoms, as well as why mainstreaming climate change adaptation across all programs is essential.
For NGO, UN, governmental and social purpose organisations
Better funding diversity
We support NGOs with strategic funding advice, business development strategies and proposal writing support. Our Funding and Proposal Support identifies funding opportunities, helps to write more and better proposals and scales funding pipelines.
We implement successful institutional reform and restructuring projects. We work closely together with organisations to transform them into agile, efficient and effective global impact leaders.
We deliver a wide range of training courses, delivered both online and in the classroom to help build skills, team spirit and capacity. Most of our training courses are subsidised or offered for free.
Workshops, training and events
We run training courses, workshops, knowledge exchange events and Strategy Sprints to help both NGO and corporate leaders discuss and plan successful transformations.
Our training offers range from large-scale Strategy Development Sprints which tackle issues such as decarbonisation, to personal support in which we help NGOs to streamline processes or diversify their income. Most of our workshops are free or subsidised.
“MzN provided us with training and subsequent capacity building and it made a huge difference to us. We are very pleased with the support we got and will certainly use them again.”
Company Director, Oxfam
“Our experience with MzN has been very positive. The team has been professional, highly attentive and demonstrated a strong understanding of our needs… We contacted MzN in need of interim financial management personnel and permanent staff. We chose to go with MzN because the quality and promptness of service was far and above the others.”
Regional Direcot East Africa, WFP
“They are very professional finance and operational experts but their passion for development and effective/efficient humanitarian aid really showed through. Not what you would expect from a bunch of chartered accountants…”
Programme Director, Save the Children
“MzN has only been working on difficult assignments. I’ve enjoyed a trust relationship which has facilitated the process and an openness to listen to requirements. MzN has posed relevant challenging questions and given feedback on the market which is useful to benchmark against.”
Recruitment Manager, Concern Worldwide
“You clearly understand NGOs, their internal workings and the challenges NGOs and the sector is facing in general. MzN very quickly grasped the issues that our organisation was facing and built a rapport with the team that gave confidence in your ability to accurately represent the issues, collectively and individually, which ensured the success of the project.”
Mrs. E. Dougoud, Director International Programm Team, IRC UK, International Rescue
“MzN International has been providing funding support for War Child Deutschland’s institutional fundraising since August 2020. We are a small start-up NGO and, with the help of MzN, we were able to secure a larger grant from the German government, improve our systems and develop a number of boilerplate texts for future applications.Thank you MzN for the professional and reliable support over the past months.”
