About us

How we evolved

It all started with a simple idea in 2014: Let’s build a development consultancy firm where the only priority is to help those in need better. Profit, image, politics are all secondary.

Do good, better!

How?

Our concept is different: As a social enterprise, we help organizations, social enterprises, humanitarian agencies, B-Corps and socially responsible private corporations around the world to do better. Our MzN – International Development

Experts support with insights into:

Consultancy such as digital and agile transformation, strategic business development, organizational restructuring and capacity building.

Funding support and finance advice to help to secure and grow your organizational funding streams.

Tailored trainings and events for decision-makers of change making organizations such as social enterprises, NGOs and other corporations working in the development and humanitarian field.

Proposal writing

We are guided by a strict ethical code, a willingness to challenge conventional thinking and we work a bit different to what many expect. This mindset aligns our thinking with that of our clients. All our decisions are made with the efficiency and success of our projects in mind, even if it means hurting the bottom line.

OUR VALUES

TRANSPARENCY

Wherever we can, we publish what we do and our results, good and bad.

SUSTAINABILITY

We have built a strong and durable company that is here to stay. We take full account of our environmental impact.

CAN DO ATTITUDE

We attract, retain and develop the best talent worldwide. We challenge each other to do better and adopt a “can-do” attitude.

INTEGRITY

We take responsibility, are unyieldingly honest, say what we mean and match our behavior to our words. Always!

WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY

  • You clearly understand NGOs, their internal workings and the challenges NGOs and the sector is facing in general. MzN very quickly grasped the issues that our organisation was facing and built a rapport with the team that gave confidence in your ability to accurately represent the issues, collectively and individually, which ensured the success of the project

  • MzN has only been working on difficult assignments. I've enjoyed a trust relationship which has facilitated the process and an openness to listen to requirements. MzN has posed relevant challenging questions and given feedback on the market which is useful to benchmark against.

  • They are very professional finance and operational experts but their passion for development and effective/efficient humanitarian aid really showed through. Not what you would expect from a bunch of chartered accountants...

  • Our experience with MzN has been very positive. The team has been professional, highly attentive and demonstrated a strong understanding of our needs... We contacted MzN in need of interim financial management personnel and permanent staff. We chose to go with MzN because the quality and promptness of service was far and above the others.
