I am working with businesses and non-profit organizations, supporting leaders in sustainable development. I have a strong belief in locally driven initiatives. I assist with organizational strengthening, innovations, developing strategies and funding of international organizations.I did a postgrad in public policy in GRIPS
Japan and a postgrad in Finance in ESC Rouen
in France. My GRIPS Professor Fumio Nishino inspired me to work for Nippon Koei
, a lead infrastructure development company in Japan. For about 10 years I served Nippon Koei as project economist, with various infrastructure development projects in Indonesia, Vietnam, Armenia, Poland, Kenya, Morocco and Tunisia in water resources development, urban development, disaster management and public transport. Those big infrastructure development projects funded by JICA still emphasized collaboration with NGOs and community based solutions. My further experience with UNOPS on enhancing organization of Nile Basin Initiative
with business development and Tetra Tech
Coffey for DFID (now FCDO) Economic and Private Sector Framework Contract strengthened my belief in relevance of local organizations. My most recent role for Islamic Relief Worldwide
and its Humanitarian Academy for Development was a step in the direction of strengthening local actors. Now in Warsaw, Poland, facing Ukraine crisis and response. Hoping to make the best of my capacity for businesses and non-profit organizations, supporting leaders in sustainable development.
