Valentina has spent the past 10 years dedicating her life to the humanitarian needs of marginalized communities in 8 different front-line crisis responses globally. In nearly all of her positions, she has taken lead in developing, implementing and refining humanitarian program strategies. She has a BSc in Biology, a diploma in Tropical Medicine and International Health and a MSc in International Management – Health Systems from the University of Liverpool. Through her academic and professional experiences, she successfully managed humanitarian interventions focused on health, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), food security and livelihoods (FSL) and Mental Health & Care Practice (MHCP). Valentina’s commitment to constantly learn from every experience has enabled her to not only navigate operational challenges in complex environments, but to anticipate them before they critically affected the likelihood of reaching operational targets.
